Our college organized a Street Play on Cleanliness Awareness to spread awareness about the importance of hygiene, sanitation, and environmental responsibility. The initiative aimed to inspire students and the public to adopt clean and sustainable practices in their daily lives.
The programme was graced by the Chief Guest, Sri Mandar V. Kale, General Manager – Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), MRPL. In his address, he emphasized the importance of cleanliness as a shared responsibility and encouraged students to become ambassadors of positive change by promoting hygiene, proper waste management, and environmental conservation within their communities.
The street play, performed by the students, creatively portrayed the consequences of littering, improper waste disposal, and environmental pollution. Through impactful dialogues and engaging performances, the students conveyed the significance of cleanliness, waste segregation, recycling, and collective responsibility in building a healthier society.
The programme concluded with a call to action, motivating everyone to actively contribute towards a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable environment through responsible individual and community efforts.
